Norris Spray Foam leads the pack in the Arlington area for spray foam roofing systems. We re-roof all types of commercial and industrial roofs with spray polyurethane foam to seal leaks permanently, to provide insulation and to preserve and protect the substrate from the ravages of time and weather.
Spray Polyurethane Foam (SPF)
A unique, different approach to roofing. The system is lightweight, non-toxic and it’s durable and weather-resistant. In some cases, tearing off the roof may not be necessary, and a SPF roof system saves you time, money and hassle during construction.
SPF provides 2 layers of protection:
1. This first layers provides a seamless, monolithic barrier of polyurethane foam, with continuous flashings. Most vertical or horizontal substrates will accept SPF adhesion.
2. The next layer consists of a protective coating: cementitious, silicone, urethane, acrylic, polyurea. The type is based on use.
The benefits of SPF:
The system was developed in the ’60s.
Continuous, seamless, lightweight reflective roofing system.
Excellent insulating ability in hot or cold climates with a high R-value to reduce energy costs.
The ease of application reduces installation costs.
Lowers maintenance costs.
Can reduce infiltration of roof air pollutants.
Eliminates ponding water and flashing leaks.
Insulation is on the outside, so movement and thermal shock are reduced.
Provides fire resistance with a Class A fire rating from Underwriters Laboratories on various substrates.
Effective in rainy climates, tropical climates, subtropical and desert climates with low humidity and intense solar radiation.
After proper maintenance and reapplicaiton of elastomeric coating through the lifecycle of the roof system, SPF is a renewable system.
